Well, who would have thought? Colin Firth has been granted A CBE. I learned this information at Inside Fame. I think it was heavily influenced by Colin's awesome portrayal of King George VI in the movie 'The King's Speech'. No matter though, because I think he deserves this honour for his contributions on the big screen. It seems that while getting his CBE, Colin was also recognized for his contributions in the arts as the chairman of the Contemporary Arts Society.
